With the exception of my espresso machine all of my coffee paraphernalia are Cuisinart.This grinder replaces a 40-year-old KitchenAid upright grinder that had belonged to my parents.So far I have made drip and espresso coffee with this grinder. Both came out perfect; no grind-burn occurred.I will try cold-brew next, but I expect similar results.The only small issue is that the timed-grind ends a little too soon for the rated number of cups (i.e., not quite enough grounds for the strength marked on the timer). This is OK, I just give it one extra cup's-worth and it turns out fine.All in all, very happy. It has a three-year warranty; let's see how long it actually lasts.
