I have a barn where I created an indoor Pickleball court. For the court I have now, I did it all by hand as I did not have the benefit of a line striping machine. It was a bit of a back breaker laying down the lines so I did not want to go through that again as I plan to relocate my current court inside the barn. That is why I decided to pick up this Calcy line striping machine. When it arrived, I was surprised as to just how heavy the box is. That is because the rubber rollers are solid and all the pieces are heavy metal. When putting down some test lines, I found the heavy weight to be very beneficial as it helped to smooth the tape onto the surface and allowed me to glide it very easily. It does take some concentration to make sure you keep the line straight. I found that slow and steady is best because when I tried to speed things up the tape was crooked. The tape that came with the machine is thin and it feels and tears like masking tape. I do not plan to use this on my Pickleball court as I want it to be more permanent and rugged for extended use. I will likely purchase some 2 inch vinyl tape to use with this machine for my court. I am working with only straight lines so I did not use the circle tool that is included with this machine. I also want to mention that it does require some assembly and the instructions are just so so. Luckily, it is not that complicated to figure out so putting it together did not take that long. The machine does come with the tools necessary for assembly, but I decided to use my own socket set because it made things so much easier than having to work with the very small tools they provide. Overall, I am happy with this product and plan to use it multiple times in the future for different projects.
