This sewing machine has more options, more features and runs quieter than all others in this price range. Smooth running from extremely slow stitching right up to speed. Awesome one step button holes stitched in the proper direction. Beautiful decorative stitches and perfect utility stitches .Seven mm stitch width. Plus you are able to adjust the spacing between fonts or numbers. Too many good things to list. I highly recommend this sewing machine as a top buy.Though this has a beautiful structure, it is clearly used when bought new. It was easy to thread. My machine came locked on a screen that looked like “][“. It absolutely didn’t budge and didn’t allow me to even select any type of stitch. No instructions for the digital selection part and barely any information online. I had to ask another owner of this. Lovely stitches. Other than the little instructs this has strong stitching, love this.Hello. This sewing machine is nice. My wife is sewing with it. She says it sews real smooth and nice. I looked and read reviews of many different brands and price ranges. I could not spend a excessive amount of money, so that is why i looked and researched for a good while before deciding on this Uten sewing machine. I did sew a couple of stitches on this machine and it is indeed smooth, precise and quite while sewing. It has plenty of different types of stitch patterns and even letters. This is the first machine we have had that you can drop the feed dogs on to free hand if you like.It took awhile to figure out how to raise the feed dogs back up. The instruction manual leaves out an important step. The lever must be pressed “down” before and while returning the lever to the left feed dog up position. Then of course press needle position button twice and feed dogs are back in normal up position. We have had several sewing machines over the years, i would say average price not super expensive ones. We are not sewing experts. My wife has made some clothing in the past with those machines.This Uten operates the best. I am glad i made this choice. Thanks.I am in love with this machine. I have been sewing for the past 40 years This is my second computerized machine and I am really impressed by how easy it was to use. It sewed right out of the box. I did not have to adjust the tension. I tried sewing on 6 layers of denim and the Uten sewing machine handled this beautifully. The buttonholes are great. I am still putting it through its paces but so far I am impressed.So I ordered this because the seller mentioned that this was dual voltage. Unfortunately, it isn't so I had to use a step down transformer (110v).The machine itself is good for beginners. The bobbin case is a little flimsy but fixable. I have not tried the embroidery feature yet.I do appreciate Amazon's customer service's quick response to my complaintYes it's easy to use. However the words you try to write. Will be less then a half inch. The words are not really readable. My only regret is not being able to monogram things. Guess I should have read closer ?HelloBought this for my granddaughter for Christmas we’ll see how she likes it and I’ll let you know what she thinks
